Our client wanted a wow-factor garden they could relax and entertain in and use as an important extension to the house. It was an out-dated garden at odds with the stylish interior of this elegant double-fronted Victorian house. It was dominated by a large Sycamore tree that took most of the light.
The clients work in the City and we wanted them to feel like they could escape the city in their garden. We designed a large dining patio, formal lawn and sofa area. A rill sparkles around the patio with a beautiful water feature which provides a focal point from the house and the relaxing sound of water gently trickling over stone. The planting is riotous – with colourful perennials providing an ever-changing palate from Spring through to late Autumn.
